Under the direction of his daughter Elena, who had adopted her father’s stance after his death, the Posada de la Misión, named after a hermitage on the mountain where it is located, was inaugurated in 1940. The founding father and daughter’s attitude has since continued to pervade the company and has made it one of the outstanding and most excellent tourist enterprises in the state of Guerrero. The Posada de la Misión features spacious rooms with up-to-date appointments and additional amenities to choose from. Most of the rooms have balconies and afford a magnificent view over the town.
