Originally the hacienda was more than 12,500-hectare (30,890-acre) in size and was primarily a large producer of grain and heavy livestock. Today still, fighting bulls (Toros Bravos) are bred at Tenexac, the courage and inflexibility of which are noticeable. The main business of the Bretón family was, however, pulque, an alcoholic drink made from agave juice. Admire the Casa Grande and enjoy the picturesque location of this unique hacienda.
